Scheduler

This position is responsible for effectively and proactively managing, controlling, and scheduling work. He/she has the demonstrated ability to work independently in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

  • Very personable and able to work well with clients, service technicians and sales team
  • Responsible for ensuring service technicians schedules are completed for all technicians by calling clients to book appointments
  • Verifies schedules and assign service calls on a daily basis by managing calls from clients, sales team and technicians
  • Prepares and assembles documentation for work orders
  • Performs sales related administrative tasks as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Demonstrated effective administration/computer skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to deal with customer related concerns
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and listening skills for effective customer service
  • Diplomatic, detail-oriented and flexible with various work assignments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as part of a team
  • Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in scheduling fire/Life protection services experience preferred
  • Experience with BVE an asset
